The Cards Business is a key business line in consumer banking and is the largest contributor among assets in Emirates NBD in terms of profitsboth absolute and Return on Total Assets accounting for AED 2B in annual revenue with over 2M cards in force
Cards has been the fastest growing product among assets and liabilities and continues to be seen as a key growth engine for the Retail Bank Moreover as a high involvement product it has a strong impact on customer loyalty and bank brand at large The Cards unit is expected to continue its strong trajectory through a combination of continuing growth momentum in mature products as well as a strong growth in newer products
Commercial Cards is a fastgrowing area in Cards which we have invested in since 2011 and garnered a strong first movers advantage We started with a focus on the UAE Corporate Travel market which is estimated at2b annually with a large share of spend still paid through conventional methodscheques and bank transfers 4 years back we also expanded the focus to cover Government Paymentsutilities license fees etc where opened up addressable spends multiple times the travel market Commercial Cards has been a strong growth engine for our cards business and counts 3000 corporates as customers making annual spends of over AED 38B on the cards growing at over 20 YOY The product enjoys minimal loss rates and high spends resulting in strong earnings from interchange and forex fees Given the large untapped market new emerging technologies opportunities on the payables and receivable side and our overall size of untapped corporate and business banking client we hope to maintain our high growth trajectory in the years to come

Brief Description:
The Assistant Manager Commercial Cards will play a key role in servicing customers as well as expanding our customer and card base This will cover a range of Corporates including CIB and BUB segments including government organizations The sales initiatives include
Building a pipeline of well qualified large corporates and SMEs for commercial cards product leveraging customer referrals as well as working with RMs in the segment teams as well as various ENBD sales teams to identify and reach out to potential customers
Engaging with the customers to convert the pipeline This will also entail filling applications and working with internal teams to assign limits and secure credit approvals
Working with existing customers to expand diversify card usage within the organization
Organizing and supporting campaigns to generate leads
The job also serves as the relationship manager for the customer portfolio and is responsible for service The entails fostering strong customer relationships
Work with internal bank teams to support customer requirements and drive issue resolutions
Grow card spends by mining further card requirements use cases within the company and drive usage
Work with internal teams and SchemesVisa Mastercard to enable setup of virtual cards and B2B card systems wherever needed
Monitor the age analysis report from collections on a monthly basis to give feedback regarding delinquent accounts Highlight to management any collections related issues
Use voice of customer to propose product enhancement requirements ideas
