Nadia Global Hiring for Mechanical Maintenance Technician Job at Dubai Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Maintaining the physical condition of trains by performing routine inspections and repairs.

· Repairing or replacing defective components.

· Performing scheduled maintenance on trains.

· Installing new trains and their equipment.

· Monitoring train operation to ensure that it’s working properly.

· Identify and analyze damage or malfunctions in the mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment of rail track; determine necessary maintenance and repair work.

· Visually check the integrity of train tracks, sleepers, and ballast. This is usually done in reaction to reports from workers or detections by sensors.

· Apply the relevant health and safety procedures in construction in order to prevent accidents, pollution and other risks.

· Compose documents and reports on the nature of rail defects investigated, position of defect in rail, location, etc.

· Read, analyze and interpret the graphical recordings issued by the rail-flaw-detection machine in order to detect errors or flaws in rails.

· Be responsible for your own, and others safety.

Skills & Experience:

· Degree in an engineering discipline or industrial maintenance/electrician.

· Required of at least 3 years of technical experience in the Railway related field.

· Strong knowledge of mechanisms and control systems.

· Exceptional ability to perform in a noisy, humid, hot and high volume machine production environment.

· Physically fit.

· Prepare and complete accurate records of the various types of work performed and maintains other records as required.

· Good communication skills.

· Proactive and positive attitude.

· Willing to learn and to be trained.

· Read drawings and carry out fault finding and repairs without supervision.

· Note: Applicants that are currently working in Dubai Metro are not allowed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
