Senior Dispatcher – Gas Operations
Role Purpose: To monitor the operation of the main Compressor Station and gas distribution network with the objective of assuring plant and network availability to receive and deliver gas to customers safely and on-time in accordance with EMARAT’s standard operating procedures, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities: Operations
Key Activities: Monitor and control the operation of the main compressor station and gas distribution network from the main control room ensuring the safe operation and reliable supply of gas.
- Liaises with gas supplier and customers control room regarding gas availability, quality and quantity.
- Issue work permit under the work permit system and ensures proper preparation, release and re/decommissioning of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain the operations log sheet and record the all activities at Compressor station and gas network.
- Prepare Annual/Monthly reports and review with Operations Engineer.
Health & Safety
- Maintain an incident free environment through maintaining a strong safety culture of continue operation
- Monitor the progress of safe work processes as per the operating procedures and to ensure safety operation and plant integrity
- Ensures compliance to health, safety and environmental excellence procedures and controls for activities under assigned Section for employee safety,
