We are looking for young talents, like you to join our full-time permanent positions in our MEIA Graduate Program. Your journey in this program will consist of challenging & exciting tasks at work and your development will be accelerated through formulation of personal development plan, local or internal assignments and focused training programs over the course of a year.
As a purchasing executive, you will administer and execute initiatives within Group Purchasing’s scope by planning, communicating, documenting and carrying out the necessary activities according to plans, to ensure support and use of tools or services with the intended effect to internal customers.
This position will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and will report to the Group Purchasing Director – MEIA.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Purchasing function by producing and handling documentation, analysis and reporting in order to provide a basis for decision-making and development initiatives
- Carry out initiatives by planning and executing related tasks in order to provide service, assistance and a sound basis for decision-making to internal stakeholders
- Keep up to date by actively seeking information and updates from internal and external stakeholders to be able to offer relevant support to internal stakeholder
- Interact with relevant network across companies to ensure both competence development and alignment of work practices and standards, but also to gain input and insight of the needs and way of working globally.
- Support projects, solutions or systems by planning and coordinating work in order to reach agreed targets and results.
- Support functional initiatives, projects or tools by contributing and participating as a member or advisor to support decision-making and adherence to internal and external processes.

Qualifications
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
- You have 1-3 years of work experience within purchasing, or any other relevant field
- You are proficient in English
