Dental Assistant needed at a reputable clinic in Dubai Health Care City.
The candidate must hold a DHA license or holds an eligibility letter. Applicants that are eligible for license may also be considered.
Has to be an excellent communicator, team player, has a positive friendly attitude, a flexible personality and be willing to work with children.
Job Responsibilities:
- Skilled work in rendering technical assistance to the dentist in the care of patients.
- Needs to be able to work with children with the Pediatric dentist.
- Needs to be able to assist a General dentist, Oral Surgeon and an Orthodontist.
- To manage sterilization of instruments and the sterilization room.
- To provide the dentist with chair side assistance, administrative support and business management practice.
- Maintains infection control standards at all times.
- Aids the dentist and other healthcare providers in the clinic in providing excellent healthcare service.
- Ensures total patient care is provided.
- To be well versed with record keeping standards and documents
- To be well versed with governing policies for government inspections
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited college of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Dental Medicine
- Certifications: Registered License from Country of Origin
- Licensure: DHA license or Eligibility letter is mandatory.
- Experience: at least 2 or 3 yrs experience as a dental assistant or Registered Nurse
- Skills: Keen observer, team player, knowledge of the armamentarium used for each dental procedure, flexible, alert, dedicated, courteous, computer literate, loyal, reliable and hard working
- Language: Fluent in English
