GEMS Education Hiring for Student Counsellor Job at Dubai Full Time

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate student counsellor to join our educational department. The key responsibilities of the student counsellor include supporting the emotional and academic growth of students, conducting workshops, developing and monitoring counselling support programs, planning and providing intervention strategies to the students, collaborating with teachers and partnering with parents. It covers any other duties in relation to the student support service as specified by the Head of the Department.

• Proven working experience in school counseling.

• Advocacy skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to the needs of a diverse student pool.
• Working knowledge of various counseling models, practices and resources.
• Engaging interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.

Experience
At least one year’s school-based experience or previous experience working with schools and students in an counseling capacityQualifications
A Master’s degree in Psychology / School Counseling.
