Here at Omnicell, we are a leader in Medication management Solutions. We are seeking to hire an experienced Solution Design Draftsman/Woman to join our team.
This is a customer facing role with responsibility for working from initial briefs and concept drawings, right the way through to manufacturing. You will ensure that an exceptional level of design support is provided, liaise with projects and sales teams regarding project enquiries and orders won by the company. You will be required to travel to customer’s sites to analyze the feasibility of the project and find the best solutions that meet the client’s expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in the creation of our robotic solutions for our customers based on the drawings, measurements and information communicated by the technical sales department and / or project manager
- Developing concepts to solve technical/logistical problems in the field of pharmaceutical and small part automation and the request of the customers
- Produce and realize execution plans with BOMS
- Review layout plans, make plan corrections
- Design parts / equipment / tooling tailored to the needs of the company
- Write and ensure the publication of additional documentation
- Participate in technical meetings and project progress
- Participate, as a team, to solve technical problems
- Train, educate and support technicians, newcomers and replacements
- Inputting project and construction data into the in-house ERP/PLM system
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- A levels (UK only) or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or significant equivalent experience
- Significant knowledge of Solidworks
- Significant knowledge and experience in AutoCAD 2D / 3D
- Experience in robotics would be a distinct advantage
- IT literate (MS Office)
- SAP experience would be an advantage
- Exceptional attention to detail and results orientation
- Excellent methodical, planning and analysis skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Driving license – essential
