Hansa group Hiring for Estimation Engineer Job at Dubai Full Time

Brief: A reputed lighting manufacturing company with a modern outlook in UAE is looking to hire Estimation and Support executives with a projects background for the estimation and preparation of offers / quotes of lighting products to commercial & infrastructure projects.

Desired Candidate Profile: The incumbent must have minimum 3 years’ experience in estimation and preparation of offers for lighting products like Street lights , tunnel lights , indoor lights into large projects in UAE.

Education: Preferably should be an Engineering Graduate / Diploma holder with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in UAE market.

He/ She should be working currently with a large / medium sized lighting product supplying or manufacturing company .

The candidate should have:

· Excellent communication skills and ‘people skills”

Excellent Knowledge of the whole range of lighting products, indoor and outdoor

· Good business sense

· Initiative and enthusiasm

· The ability to work calmly under pressure.

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office

Specialist knowledge (Desirable but not essential)

• Knowledge of Dialux and/or Relux or any other lighting software

• Knowledge of AutoCAD

Responsibilities:

· The primary function of the Estimator is to prepare commercial estimates.

· He / She will be responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings, analyzing tenders and select alternatives, if necessary, prepare Lighting quotations with technical submittals

· Will be responsible for and to successfully prepare the estimate and win the project.

· Will work with the Sales Engineers to follow up on bids and budgets. Handle all customer & factory coordination for sales and technical support by providing all technical documents, drawings, technical diagrams & electrical diagrams, wiring diagrams, compliance statement to the customer

· Lighting proposals / Retrofit solutions for projects, both for internal and external lights

· Regular Communication with the design team and sales team.

· Assist the sales team in set up of sampling/ project mock ups, if required.

· Assist sales team in following up and negotiation with customer for the quote sent and order generation

· On receipt of order, liaising with sales team, customer, factory for ordering, invoicing, delivery.

· To assist in preparation of pre-qualification documents with respect to the client requirements.

· Coordinate with the factory/ warehouse to provide excellent customer service

· Maintain complete documentation of all the products and their specifications.

· Manage user manual for customers

· Ensure that the products quoted meet the local regulatory standards and if required, assist in getting necessary approvals from local government bodies, large developers, various Ministries, Utilities like DEWA etc. Handle all queries coming from the sales team (including onsite survey and inspection)

· Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures

· Provide weekly report to the Sales and Marketing Director
