The opportunity
Leader of the programme executive team with overall responsibility for performance of the services, client management and achieving programme objectives. Works in lockstep with the client executive to deliver objectives, create an integrated team and share international best practice.
Maintains and provides consistency of service delivery across the programme.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing the commercial reporting functions related to the development scope.
Monitoring and reporting on the project account to the development lead and PMO.
Understanding and managing the employer’s change control process, providing input and support to teams where relevant.
Providing the employer assistance in the procurement and close out of minor works packages.
Supporting the employer on commercial matters and managing the respective consultants in providing inputs where required.
Compiling with Mace processes and procedures and delivering our services in line with Mace core values.
Managing and being accountable for the commercial reports.
Providing timely feedback at all times to the development director.
Being fully aware of the employer’s project reporting requirements, change control and payment procedures.
Coordinating with project stakeholders in the successful conclusion of the project accounts.
Monitoring weekly and monthly cost movements and reporting any anomalies/significant movements to the development director.
Ensuring variations on all project accounts are being progressively closed out, engage in regular follow ups/check in’s with project teams.
Leading and participating in commercial meetings where required.
Providing responses to audit queries and input into third party reviews where required.
Communicating with all project parties or stakeholders and ensuring suitable records are maintained.
Working collaboratively and always in an inclusive manner.
About you
You have a bachelor’s degree qualification in a related field and member of a professional body. You are able to administer both construction and consultancy contracts. You have suitable technical qualifications relevant to the specific project/role. You have good skills in communicating and presenting. You are proficient in using Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Oracle Unifier is helpful but not requisite.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer.
