ABOUT THE ROLE
The Trade Marketing Managers’ main objective is to grow Market Share and Sell out for the assigned Color Cosmetic brands across different channels and points of sale. You will be responsible for driving efficient brand plans, in each country/channel, optimizing brand presence and trade activation ROI an across the GCC and LEVANT markets.
THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for:
1. Driving Color Cosmetics brands market share and Sell out
Define robust 5P strategy per channel for 2 main export regions; GCC & Levant, to define brand Picture of Success
Work closely with Sales, Distributors and Brand teams to define and run customer activation plans to drive Sell out and maximize brand Market Share.
Implement strong trade marketing plans with strategic retailers across all channels, in line with brand and business objectives for key categories and product ranges, including supporting key NPD launches .
Have clear understanding of distribution landscape and establish channel strategies along with execute associated plans accordingly
Manage complex color cosmetic assortment: from NPD forecasts to discontinuations
Track brand financials for all export markets, to establish pricing which maintains competitiveness and drives profitability
Localize marketing initiative toolkits, to adapt to retailer mindset and differentiated market dynamics.
Manage local vendors and POSM development for local projects and executions
2 . Becoming a reliable Business support function
Support BM and Commercial Leader across the S&OP process, MS reports, P&L inputs and readiness tracking
Ensure commercial readiness on orders and 100% on-time delivery of innovations and their support
Coordinate with sales team and cross functional team to secure perfect store execution
Weekly connects with full sales team to discuss monthly plans, brand updates and local tactical support to improve MS
Monthly connects with distributors to deploy new initiatives, track launched initiatives, and monitor in-store execution/support needed
3, Sales Planning and budget management
Contribute to yearly sales planning on innovation, promotion and assortment building blocks
Responsibly manage and monitor the BTL budget spend for all in-trade investments (actuals vs. plan)
Ensure that our BTL placements are well synced with our ATL campaigns for maximum output.
4, Reporting
Monitor MS performance and Brand KPIs
Track & analyze both Coty and competition trade promotions to establish learnings and better future planning
Share a quarterly recap on trade plans ROI highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
We’d love to see candidates who have:
A passion for beauty, and cosmetics industry
At least 5 years of experience in trade marketing or sales roles involving working with distributors in FMCG sector
Extensive experience in the Middle East region and experience in working with distribution partners
Proven track record of managing brand strategy implementation, budget, and planning with hand on approach
Strong time management and operational excellence
Strategic thinking and numbers acumen
Strong negotiation skills
