Our client, a leading construction / Fit-Out company is seeking for an experienced Site Engineer – MEP (Retail Fit-Out) for their Abu Dhabi and Dubai division.
Location: Abu Dhabi
Salary: AED 8,000 + Car + Other Benefits (After Probation – AED 12,000)
Responsibilities:
- Responding with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents.
- Supervise all on-site construction including subcontractor’s, resolve day-to-day problems on the job site and inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Check & supervise all work being done by contractor.
- Carry out routine work check to ensure that quality of services meets the service level agreements and excels key performance indicators.
- Continually review the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of the site works regarding MEP services and report to the Project Director on the same.
- Observing the safety procedures followed by the contractor and issuing instructions as necessary to correct safety violations.
Requirements:
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 4 years experience in Construction and Management of the site team.
- Capable of carrying out site HSE and Quality audits on a regular basis
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
- Familiar with various construction methods and materials, their characteristics, installation procedures
- Advanced computer proficiency in MS Office applications, Access, AutoCAD etc.
