We have an opportunity for a Talent Director for High Growth Regions to be based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will develop a talent strategy and deploy talent management interventions within the High Growth Regions (HGR) organization. You will work within the Global Talent Center of Expertise to develop the business talent strategy inclusive of talent acquisition, succession planning, movement of internal talent, learning and development, deploying career path solutions, as well as ensuring the retention of key talent within HGR. You will be a key leader in developing and aligning organizational talent processes, systems and culture to accelerate business performance.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Organizational Talent Strategy:
- Develop and deploy a talent strategy for HGR within Honeywell bringing the best of talent ideas, processes, and programs from across the enterprise. Engage and provide significant HR/talent input in the HGR STRAP (strategic plan). Own and drive improvement initiatives on talent metrics (TBI).
- Interface with other parts of the Talent COE (including business Talent Leaders) to assess business talent needs and deploy solutions to improve the talent pipeline and business performance overall in HGRs.
- Serve as a key strategic thought leader to the HGR HR VPs responsible for the HGR organization, bringing the holistic talent view to implement solutions in talent acquisition, succession planning, learning and development to ensure we attract, develop, and retain the best most diverse talent
Develop & Accelerate the Readiness of Talent:
- Know and actively develop the Top Talent within the HGR organization, develop best bets for HGR leadership roles, lead the talent review process (MRR), lead the HGR leadership program for all regions. Support and consult on regional diverse talent development programs.
- Attract & Hire the Best, Most Diverse Talent
- Engage in executive and senior leadership searches for the HGR organization partnering closely with TA in each region. Partner with HRVPs and TA to drive actions to improve diversity hiring in each HGR region.
Engage & Retain Talent:
- Partner with senior leaders, HRVPs, and LER on actions to improve the Voice of the Employee Survey (employee engagement). Deploy retention and engagement best practices. Leverage Exit and Stay Interview insights to provide proactive solutions to the business. Partner with HRVPs and TA to drive actions to improve diversity representation and retention in each HGR region.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree (Master’s preferred)
- Experience an a HR Generalist
- Previous experience working in a matrix organisation
