Detailed skill Requirements

Responsible for supporting the migration of suitable workloads to our Public Cloud (AWS/AZURE/GCP) tenancy with

extensive hands-on experience with cloud migrations, and can ably communicate complex technical concepts to a wide variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders at differing levels of seniority

Junior and Mid-Level experience using one or more of the following tools:

Terraform and Terraform Cloud, Public Cloud (AWS/AZURE/GCP), Kubernetes, Splunk, PaaS, SNOW,

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert day-to-day technical support for a range of cloud-hosted applications and services.
• Work with teams across EKIT to understand business requirements and translate into results.
• Domain Expert for Public Cloud (AWS/AZURE/GCP) cloud infrastructure within the Cloud Team.
• Continuously improve and develop our cloud infrastructure in line with best practice.

Essential Skills:

• Deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Understanding of hyper converged infrastructure and virtualization
• Demonstrable knowledge of Public Cloud (AWS/AZURE/GCP) services and concepts, and hands-on experience of Public Cloud (AWS/AZURE/GCP) in an enterprise-scale environment.
• Experience with containers, particularly Kubernetes
• Practical experience of deploying and managing cloud resources using IaC.
• Experience working with source control (Github, Bitbucket, etc)
• Good knowledge of Public Cloud (AWS/AZURE/GCP) native services and cloud-agnostic alternatives
