McDermott Hiring for Senior Estimator Job at Dubai Full Time

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Read , Understand Scope of work , Pricing Bills, Commerical requirement etc and raise Clarifications
• Participate in the daily management of the Estimating Department and its team, as required.
• Provide direction and assistance to Estimators, as required.
• Ensure the necessary documentation is completed and maintained to ensure traceability of the Estimating Departments Activities.
• Determine Proposal requirements and direct attention to those areas that appear inconsistent or contain a high risk element
• Recommends cost saving measures during proposal stage
• Attend and participate in Bid review meetings, estimate evaluation meetings, PROM meetings etc as required
• Co ordinates and assists, where necessary, the functional department estimators to ensure the estimates are:
  • Completed in a timely manner
  • Cognisant of the Bid ‘Win Strategy’
• Review Departmental estimates to ensure estimates are:
  • Accurate – free from Errors and Omissions
  • Consistent with the Bid Strategy
  • Consistent with the Companies Benchmarking information
  • Coordinate changes to rates in the rate bank for the new EBS ME
  • Coordinate necessary benchmarking of bid information
  • Prepare Executive Bid Summary with all the cost inluded and risks covered
    • Accurate – free from Errors and Omissions
    • Right revisions of the departmental inputs are used.
    • Template & Rates used are correct.
