The Banking Operating Unit within MA develops solutions for Banks seeking to implement best practices in risk measurement, risk management, capital management, and financial reporting. Position is REMOTE with preferred location in New York, San Francisco, Omaha or Toronto.
The Lending Delivery Solution Consultant is a key member of the Banking Solutions Execution team. In this role you will design and build functional and technical solutions to facilitate client adoption of our products by partnering with colleagues to successfully deliver our credit origination solutions. This key team member would:
- Participate in and/or lead credit origination solutions delivery
- Participate in and/or lead requirements and design workshops to understand customers’ loan origination processes and design or advise on design of components of the solution
- Document and/or review the outputs derived from the project workshops
- Analyze business requirements and define how our solutions can best be delivered to align with those requirements
- Configure solutions based on business requirements, designs, and our lending solutions best practices
- Develop code for integration, business rules, reports, scorecards, utilities, etc. within the solutions’ extensible framework
- Ensure proper use of source control throughout project delivery
- Provide functional and technical leadership to project delivery team during implementation including requirements, design and development/configuration
- Assist with documenting, categorizing, tracking, and analyzing results of testing
- Liaise with other teams such as product, engineering and other delivery teams to research and resolve issues
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Experience with SaaS, lending origination and/or credit risk management software, preferably in a configuration or software development role
- Financial Services and banking experience in lending and loan origination preferred
- Relevant professional experience in a software development organization, consultancy (project delivery) or a financial institution
- Prior experience in key role implementing, configuring, or administering commercial lending, loan origination and/or credit risk assessment software at a financial institution
- Technical proficiency in C#.Net, SQL, and database (preferably Postgres) concepts
- Experience with R and/or Python preferred
- Strong presentation, teamwork and communication skills gained in a similar role
- Strong team player and collaborator
- Background in servicing external customers and building customer relationships
- Process improvement, ability to clearly explain options and provide recommendations
- Strong partnership and collaboration skills across stakeholder teams including Delivery, Product Management teams and technology teams
- Project management experience beneficial
- Knowledge of Moody’s Solutions including CreditLens, RiskCalc, CMM, ImpairmentStudio is a plus.
- Fluency in English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

For Colorado-based roles only: the anticipated base salary range for this position is $109,200 to $158,750, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual performance incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
