Under the leadership of CEO Arjan Toor, and based out of UK/ Europe, GIH is a global business segment operating across Europe, Middle East, the Americas and Asia.
The Position
This is the HR Business Partner role for GIH and the role holder would be a member of the GIH segment management team (SMT) and interact with key stakeholders across Cigna International Markets.
The role reports to HR Senior Director, EMEA and is a member of the EGS (Europe and Global Segments HR leadership team).
This role leads the HR relationship with the business and works closely with the Talent, Learning & Development and Compensation & Benefit COEs to deliver all-round effective HR management.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop, lead and executes the HR strategy for the GIH segment.
Collaborate with HR colleagues and people managers to execute initiatives that support the achievement of business objectives.
Be fully responsible for the execution of the people elements of the GIH strategic plan.
Drive forward future of work initiatives (HR innovation).
Be an active member of the GIH segment Leadership Team.
Develop and implement HR programmes and practices. This includes organisation development, talent development, reward programmes, performance management, diversity initiatives and employee engagement and wellbeing.
Manage the year end compensation review process.
Supports and provides counsel and coaching to people managers in the resolution of key staffing, development, compensation, performance management and employee relations issues.
Initiates, drives and participates in cross-functional and cross-business projects to support overall achievement of business strategies and support staff development.
Communicate, integrate and manage change initiatives.

Experience/Qualifications Required:
Senior level HR Business Partner experience,
European, or multiple market HR experience
Experience of leading projects across cross-functional groups and influencing multiple stakeholders.
Graduate/ MBA and CIPD qualification is preferred.
