Purpose of the Job
The Operations System Specialist is responsible for providing expertise and knowhow in Infor warehouse management software. This role is crucial to the success of our operations. Infor specialists work with internal Aramex stakeholders and clients to implement system best practices with the aim of reducing operational costs and increasing customer satisfaction. The job holder is responsible for delivering business process and application services which include process design, application configuration, testing, training on Infor software, technologies and tools in accordance with standard warehousing practices. The Operations System Specialist is also responsible for developing ongoing, successful business relationships with clients and for providing clients with “industry best practice” recommendations.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and deploy solutions in warehousing operations using Infor WMS and its tools
- Provide training to internal key stakeholders and act as a superuser on all functionalities of the Infor system
- Assist the realization of business benefits for clients
- Participate in full life cycle client facing implementation projects relating to Infor applications, working as part of an Infor Project team
- Configure a client business solution
- Develop and execute test plans and test software configurations
- Provide implementation consultancy and application best practice advice
- Provide regular internal reports on the status of projects
Job Requirements (Experience and Education)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Supply Chain experience in warehousing and distribution
- Minimum 3 years’ experience on Infor WMS
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel
